As you read in Brie’s posts, we moved rather quickly through Costa Rica. But not quick enough to not learn some things:
- Odds are if you are flying into Costa Rica, you’ll be arriving in the capital San Jose. Luckily, San Jose has Uber, which is nice because the airport is outside of the city. While we didn’t spend a lot of time there, the city was pretty nice.
- The downside to Costa Rica is that it is fairly expensive. Since we were traveling on a time and money budget, we opted to skip the more touristy activities like Arenal Volcano and Monteverde, and headed to the southern coast instead.
- I would highly recommend Manuel Antonio National Park because we saw a staggering amount of wildlife and the entry fee was relatively cheap.
