Day 2: Mexico City

On our second but first full day in Mexico City, we ate a delicious breakfast at Rosetta, a panadería in the Cuauhtémoc neighborhood, and then went to the Bosque de Chapultepec (Chapultapec Forest), the largest park in the Western Hemisphere. We checked out the vendors and rented a paddle boat for an hour, which was a lot fun, but ended with me getting a wet bum and a sunburn.

Then we stopped by the Wings of Mexico and the Angel of Independence, two of the most iconic sculptures in Mexico City, from what I’ve gathered.

We met back up with Ceci and Diego and got dinner at Fisher’s, a seafood restaurant in the Nápoles neighborhood, where I got a michelada and my first (but certainly not my last) fish taco of the trip.
